Marialy Rivas is a Chilean filmmaker. Her award-winning work includes two feature films “Young & Wild” (2012) and “Princesita” (2017), and three short films: “Blokes”(2010), “Melody” (2015) and “Desde Siempre” (1996). 
She has also work for tv directing the Amazon show La Jauría nowadays shooting it’s second season. 
Her work has played in various film festivals such as Cannes, Sundance, TIFF, Berlinale, New York FF, San Sebastián, SFFF, Havana and Stockholm among others.
Rivas is a TIFF and Sundance Alumni and she has also worked in advertising for 15 years earning multiple awards. In 2005 she shot the Presidential Campaign of the first female President of Chile: Michelle Bachelet. 
Rivas works at Fabula, a Chilean production company owned by Juan de Dios Larraín and Pablo Larraín. They are known for working with promising and well-known Chilean directors such as Pablo himself, Sebastián Lelio and Sebastian Silva.
