Once described as ‘Mary Poppins on steroids’, Katie joined TBWA\London as Managing Director in April 2019. With a proven track record of balancing speed with rigour, Clients and colleagues alike know her for her enthusiasm, opinions and penchant for telling it like it is. Prior to joining TBWA, Katie spent two years at Grey London running the agency’s flagship Marks & Spencer business whilst heading up their 85 strong Account Leadership department. She has also spent time as a Client, becoming Head of Marketing for luxury womenswear brand ME+EM in 2013, and had stints at Leagas Delaney, RKCR/Y&R and independent agency Brothers & Sisters, where she led the award-winning ‘Bears’ campaign for Center Parcs in 2015. Most excited by the agency’s core philosophy of Disruption, Katie is a huge advocate of using the Disruption process to solve Clients’ problems, helping their businesses and brands play a greater role outside of just their communications. She believes that this philosophy can be stretched every which way as part of the pitching process, always looking at different ways to evolve methodologies accordingly. Alongside her day to day, Katie describes herself as a staunch feminist, sitting on the Omniwomen UK + Allies 19/20 Committee and mentoring a 14 year old girl every Saturday in South London."
