Edina Heal is an INSEAD MBA, an economist and a seasoned CEO. She has been working for Google for almost 8 years as a country director. She also ran its women employee resource group for EMEA for 2 years. Prior to Google, Edina ran the biggest and most profitable commercial radio station of Hungary. She has extensive experience in content development and managing talent, as she spent 5+ years managing recording business companies and artists, both in Hungary and in the UK. Ms Heal started her career at leading multinational advertising companies. She was director of client services at McCann-Erickson and has also tried her entrepreneurial skills. Ms Heal has established a charity called Egyenlítő to promote equal treatment of women at work, having almost 300 influential women leaders as volunteers in its ranks. She spent 2 years on the board of the American Chamber of Commerce in Budapest and is currently serving on the board of the Budapest Festival Orchestra, which ranks among the top 10 orchestras worldwide. She serves on the advisory board of a charity providing free coding lessons for girls in Hungary. Forbes magazine regularly names Edina as one of Hungary’s most influential women. She holds an MBA from the leading international business school, INSEAD and has 2 children.
